The Venue

We already knew where we wanted to get married long before Alec proposed. In April we went to the Gunners' Barracks for high tea and fell in love with the venue. So there was no other choice! I love that it's a very intimate venue - we get the whole place to ourselves, it's small and private, and has a private courtyard plus terrace.

The ceremony will take place on the Harbour Lawn as pictured below, which is attached to the venue. Our guests will just have to walk up to the main building then for the reception. I love having everything in one spot too - less hassle for both us and guests.

We left it pretty late, so were lucky they had anything available at all! We're getting married on a Sunday evening, but I think it will be perfect.
