Final Dress Fitting

My friend Masa came with me to pick up the dress on NYE. I tried it on one last time, which was lucky as it needed an extra hook in the back. I'd actually lost about half a kilo since my previous fitting, so it fit perfectly on the day. Woot!

I'm so so in love with my dress. I want to wear it again - every day! I'm trying to find a way to wear it again ... a ball? Shortened for a cocktail event?

Wedding Dress Fitting

Had my first dress fitting! The dress is about 70% done - and it's just perfect :) I'm so excited to wear it and just so sad I'll only get to wear it once.

Wedding Dress: Check!

I put a deposit on my wedding dress today! I had slight heart palpitations when I was handing over my credit card to pay for 50% upfront, but I just loved it, and I loved how I looked in it!

The style of the dress is very vintage - soft lace, with an open back and a slim cut. The dress designer is Helen English - her dresses are just so beautiful!

I visited her boutique, once with Rosalie, one of my bridesmaids, and then again with my mum for a final decision. I also have a veil! I wasn't sure if I would do one or not, but I tried one on with the dress and my mum loved it so much she offered to buy it for me. So sweet - thank you Mum!
